Repeated Reminders
Saturday, July 12, 2008
Hello everyone! :D
So yeah, this is my first time posting here, so how's I feeling now? NO FEELINGS! hahas... Okaes, cut the crap and get straight to main point.
For sec1: hmmm... you all really need to brush up on your drills. from what i see on friday training, your drills are still not up to standard. people still not pulling back your shoulders, chins not up, eyeball still moving around, talk in a squad.... someof you all still drag your feet, talk to seniors in disrespectful manner... I'm sure that the sec3, sec4 and VIs have reminded you repeated times and still the same old mistakes are committed. why? do you really want us to keep on repeating the same old things over and over again? no, am i right? so why not instead of us reminding you, why not take the initiative to remind your own peers. if you see any of them dragging their feet, do remind them not to drag, if you see some of them hav their shirt tucked out, remind them to tuck it in. you all are batchmates, so yeah, help one another. so remember all those seems minor but important reminders that will affect what other people think of you. so do take note of all these... manage and make use of your time well, over the weekends, do read up on your footdrills and evacuation notes. if you all hav any questions regarding any subjects, do enquire, ask your sec3, we are all here to help you, clear your doubts. so that we can move on to teaching you all more things instead of pausing at one point.
For sec2: we have 2 newcomers right? natasha and min jie, 'we say hello, we say hello, we say hello to them, we say hello, to them, we say hello to them... we say hello to them... HELLO!' hahas, alright, you have 2 new additional members joining. woohoo! sec2, do also help one another especially the 2 newcomers, they are new to red cross, they don't know anything about footdrill, evacuation, outdoor activity, red cross values etc. so do help them to catch up. like i said, help one another, you all are batchmates. alright, fri training, footdrill, from what i see, and also for some reason but don't know what reason, your drills have de-proved. some can even laugh in a squad, during reporting, ms loke tell you all not to laugh a few times but still, you all keep on laughing. it dissapoint me a lot. i believe you all can show me better drills. so a point to note. and when sec3 are talking to you all nicely, don't talk among yourselves, don't cut halfway in when they are talking, don't 'yah' them, reply yes/no sir or ma'am, don't treat them like your friends during training as they are your sirs and ma'ams. all these don'ts i believe you all should know it by now, but why aren't you all doing so? i don't know why, i believe you have the answer in you, so i hope to see improvements the next training. the type of sec2 i want to see, the one that sec1 can put them as role model, the one that sec1 will be inspired to be like you or even better. i think i better stop here, if not i will go on and on...
alright, in short, remember all those reminders, read through your notes when you have the time. rest well and enjoy yourselves over the weekends. i hope to see you all behaving like how red cross cadets should behaved. i believed you all can do it ;D
Warmest regards,
BoonPing
