HI GUYS! camp over! though the camp we run this time round is abit slack, but i must say that we put in our very best effort to make this camp a sucessful one. GREAT JOB GLORIOUS!
Below is the speech that GLORIOUS said during the campfire.
To our dearest Sec4, Victorious:
We Glorious, would want to deeply thank our seniors and everyone who stood by us through the ups and downs of our every lives. Our name Glorious did came not only from hardwork but because of those who sacrificed their time in order to get through the storms with us. To them, it might be wanting to help but to us, it's like seeing ordinary people trying and striving to change our lives to a glorious one. They bond us together through their love and shared the sweat and tears of both happiness and bitterness. We would like to thank those people to resolve the seemingly unending rivalry and conflicts in our personal lives. And to Liyana ma'am and Peisi ma'am, they show us the loving care and kindness we forgotten overtime because of the silence that was between the sec3 and 4s. They revealed to us that the current sec4s still care about us evern though they put a very tough front. Liyana and Peisi ma'am, they are one of many people who attempt to bond our fractured and fragmented sec3 level. The many love, hatred and bitterness that have been shed paid off without Glorious return from the NFDC and this would not happen without their help. All that we can hope and wished for our loving seniors is to live a life, a life of many exciting challenges and forevermore, a life with us, Glorious, to support them like the Victorious did during the darkest moment of our lifes.
To Soarers & VIs:
To our VIs and seniors who lead us through gloomy and hazy days of our chaotic lives, we wish to say things that even the word is unable to express. You may have left us, dying and rotting, to struggle along with the sec4s, who are trying their best to uphold the glory of EVGRCY. But NO! You didn't, you picked us up from nothing; only through your sheer will, you made us realized what are our lifes are for, what our lifes of being a Red Cross cadets. Now, we are leaders but without you, we might still be seperated groups of demoralized lot of ruffians. We thought you performed miracles but no, it's that you inspire us and steer us to paths that will lead to a day in which even the greatest of challenges will never topple us. Every drop of tears, every ounce of strength and every beat of our heart is always there, rejunvenated by your very obstacles of our lives. We would want to thank the seniors and VIs not as a cadet, but a rising leader, leader of tomorrow.
To YOs:
Not forgetting our most beloved YOs, without their gaurdiance, the camp also would not be a sucessful one. We would like to specially thanks Mr Clement Tay for his commitment towards us, sec3 Glorious. He was the first YO that help us in many of the areas like giving us tips and told us our mistake in the footdrill. We also first time see YO doing and demostrating PT exercise like pumping for us as am example. And of course Miss Loke and Miss Lai doing all the admin stuff for us. We really appreciate the things your had done for us.
Ending speech:
Though we have came to end of our speeches but we have just said our hear felt words. Hypocrisy and hatred no longer exist in what we view call 'Glorious'. This happened not only by us, but by people who we deem heroes, our everyday heroes. They supported and stood by us, supporting us through the agony of life, be with us through the harsh and desperate scenes of a human. Yes, they may be human beings, flesh, blood and soul, but NO! They are not ordinary people! In fact, they are people who trying a new dawn to the darkest reigns of our lives...Thank You!
