My Dear CHAMPIONS!!!!

Firstly, a big congratulations to all of you..able to clinch FIRST in North District in the yr 2006...and we are the defending champion for the past 2 yrs, including this, will be 3......

like i told some of the people in the squad, some people heard of Evergreen, they will say something like, Evergreen quite strong...especially the people from the North...so this shall make u all more confident. Do have to be so afraid of goin competitions. just be confident and do ur best..and all of u make it...

Next wad i want to say is tat for the years to come, whenever u all go for wad competition, not juz footdrill, if u all can watch how other sch perform, go and watch. This is to get experience and learn from the better schools...or better still do a review/reflection of ur own performance base on how other ppl perform and for example, footdrill, u look at the competition ground again n see if the commands i gave is ok, or is there other better commands to give etc..so can learn...i wud encourage let say this yr sec3 going competition, the sec2s go and watch, so tat when the sec2s turn sec3 the following yr, they noe roughly how the competition is like...

Did all of u remember wad Mr Andrew Ong (Resident Judge) said during his speech? He said overall, the drill standard of all schools have improve..I strongly agree with him...Let's just talk abt schools in north...Schs like Sengkang..i think their drills are really very sharp and smart...Compassvale, they did well, get into national...and i think in national, compassvale did quite a gd job too...
From all these, the point im trying to bring across is tat we need to improve and progress.coz others are catchin up....Next yr, we will need to master and perfect our drills much more early so tat there will be more time for practise for round 2. This will den make u all competent enough for round 2..

Talk abt round 2, i think we really need to give a big thank you and applause to our commander, who is oso our chairperson. She put in alot of time, effort and hard work in trainin all of you, at the same time oversee the weekly unit trainin so well.... I think all of you really need to say a big big big THANK YOU to her....for round 2...she is relatively calm...i guess even if im standin infront, i wud feel nervous and tense too...BUT, she is not.. Durin the 2 minutes planning process, she is calm enough to walk around to look and assess the ground, to look at obstacles etc..and if u all notice, Mr Ong did mention in his speech tat no sch did tat..but i noe she did it...which i think is something commendable...Any flaw? I doubt so. Her commandin is clear, right? and she is able to move the squad to the final formation. She did a great job! I feel we cant win is because the other schools are really too strong...we did our best...and We are proud of ourselves and wad we had done, am i correct?

For the contingent, i noe there is alot of hard work from all of u...train under the hot sun, get tanned and exhausted. But i believe the moment u hear " North district CHAMPION goes to EVERGREEN SEC SCH" u all muz be feeling so happy...and the best part is the 8 schs goin to round 2 is ".....EVERGREEN SEC SCH...." all the hard work pays off yea? If the senior's senior did it, and ur senior did it, so can YOU. So now, Is the juniors turn to secure back the CHAMPION next yr and the yr after next and the yr after and after........ RITE? Now we all have achieve so much, and come so far, is time for u all to maintain. First thing is tat i need u all to tell ur junior, to brainwash them, make them feel committed, and make them be part of the EVG RCY family that they feel sense of belonging. When they have the sense of belongin, they will have the will to fight and achieve more. SEC3,Now is ur turn to train them, make them feel committed and want to train for next yr competition. CAN?

NExt thing is this, VIs have did our part...now Hazwani and li Xuan are coming back. of coz we will still be around, but they will be more active..so u all can see, we need to have renewal of VIs, so tat EVG RCY family will be complete. so the sec3s and 4s, when u all pass out, i hope to see more of u all joinin, coming back to the family and help the juniors, and of coz our wonderful YOs. in order to progress on and achieve greater heights, this is wad we need.? as i said, if u all have sense of belongin, you all will come back.. THis is oso y i stayed in EVG RCY so long? so i hope to see more of u all coming back...The EVG RCY FAMILY... OK??

LASTLY, A BIG CONGRATS TO EVG RCY!
Is time for rest, have a gd rest, though tests are coming. BUT, CAPABLE EVG RCY cadets definitely are able to manage rite? ANY SWEAT? NO SWEAT! CHICKEN FEET HA HA ALL THE WAY!!!! RIGHT? (",)

I wish all of you pass ur test with flying colours and the results be as gd as TODAY, CHAMPIONS!!!!!!
3 cheers and 3 cheers and 3 cheers for champion, hip hip,.........,hip hip,.............hip hip,.......!!!!

End off with a quote tat i thought of,
tough training never last, is the results from tough training tat last...
